Hi Everyone, I am Rishoban Kandeepan from Colombo, Sri Lanka.
I am a passionate and hardworking final-year Electrical and Electronic Engineering undergraduate at the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT). My academic journey has been centered on embedded systems, hardware design, and machine learning, with a focus on building smart, efficient, and impactful engineering solutions.
I recently concluded my tenure as an Electronic Engineering Trainee at Variosystems, where I enhanced an Autonomous Guided Vehicle (AGV) by implementing PID-based navigation, integrating load measurement systems, and developing a vision-based PCB alignment solution for automated manufacturing processes.
Previously, from January to April 2023, I worked as an Engineering Trainee at Colombo Dockyard PLC, where I implemented energy optimization solutions for industrial welding machines and supported the maintenance of ship communication and electrical systems.
I specialize in embedded systems, computer vision, power electronics, and automation. My project experience spans deep learning for medical imaging, wearable biomedical systems, industrial energy optimization, and autonomous robotics. I am proficient in Python, C, C++, embedded programming (Raspberry Pi, Arduino, PIC, ESP32), and simulation tools like MATLAB, Proteus, Multisim, and Quartus II.
With a strong commitment to continuous learning and problem-solving, I aspire to create real-world engineering solutions that improve efficiency, safety, and quality of life.
