👋 Hey, I’m Angelique. I am a determined individual seeking to get opportunities to grow and to learn new things. I got my first professional experience at Starbucks as a barista, where I learned great problem solving skills and customer service. I developed great people skills by building relationships with regular customers, who conveniently tip me $100 each week of December! Everyday was a new battle at Starbucks. From an espresso machine breaking during our rush hours to providing aide to a customer passing out in the lobby, there was definitely always something going on. These experiences taught me to be adaptive. I've dipped my toe into a variety of jobs. Currently, I work at Converse as a sales associate. But, before that, I did door to door sales for Vivint smart home security. I received "rookie of the week" my first week working for Vivint so I thrive in fast-paced environments. I also learned how to use design software such as "chief architect" and "2020 design" in two days when I worked for a small kitchen design business. And by the end of my first month working there, I was blessed with a raise due to my hard work and commitment! To add on to that, by the end of my third month, I was offered another raise for adopting multiple roles and stepping up.
