Here's the thing about these transitions...

They happen to be tremendous opportunities to entertain and add depth to the learning experience. When someone hits that little "fast forward" functionality, the internet gods have graced/cursed us (however you wanna look at it) with approximately 30-60 seconds of latency.

You could ignore this small window and just say "they can wait." Or you can seize the moment! Yes, it's extra work, but sometimes going the extra mile is worth it. Here are a few ways that I like to use these interstitial pages...
