Hephaestus is an ally. He is the god of fire and forge, as well as the patron of blacksmiths, craftsmen, and metallurgy. Hephaestus is the one who provides Halia with her ultimate weapon through which she can channel her power.
His mother is Hera, who bore Hephaestus alone as revenge for Athena's peculiar birth from Zeus' head. To get rid of him, Hera threw the child from the heights of Mount Olympus.
Hephaestus fell for several days until he crashed into the surface of the sea, where he was rescued by the Nereids, who raised him on the island of Lemnos. There, Hephaestus learned the techniques of craftsmanship, becoming an absolute master in the art.
The fall left lifelong consequences on him, such as malformations and a characteristic limp that hindered his normal walking and further marred his appearance. As the husband of Aphrodite, Hephaestus took it upon himself to enhance his wife's beauty beyond her natural appearance. He forged a plethora of exquisite jewelry and beauty artifacts for the goddess. Despite the unconditional love Hephaestus felt for her, Aphrodite did not reciprocate his feelings and sought solace in the arms of the god of war, Ares.
Physical Appearance
Hephaestus is robust, burly, and ugly. His skin is covered in eczema, and his hands and feet have severe malformations that cause him to limp when walking.

In terms of his personality, Hephaestus does not maintain close relationships with people; he keeps his distance and limits himself to work. He is possessive in his love life but calm and kind in his everyday interactions. He cherishes his routine and takes great pleasure in his work.
