I'm exploring an idea that's been brewing for a while, and I'd love your thoughts.
As someone passionate about travel and unique stays, I've noticed a frustrating gap: incredible boutique properties with websites that don't do them justice. I've personally chosen the "safer" booking option or opted for an OTA simply because the other site felt less trustworthy.
Why am I reaching out? After 12 years designing websites, I want to help close that gap. You create something magical for guests, but too many websites either don't capture it or push visitors straight to costly booking platforms.
I believe you deserve a website that works as hard as you do and I’m passionate about making this accessible for boutique properties. Before I commit fully to this idea, I’d love to hear about your real challenges and see if what I’m building could truly help.
🔸 Paying 15-25% commissions to Booking.com, Airbnb, Expedia
🔸 Competing primarily on price rather than unique value
🔸 DIY sites that look generic or outdated, bad mobile experience
🔸 No clear storytelling about what makes the property special
🔸 Lack of trust in booking directly
