Once, when the human was divine, The sky was blue and the rivers shined. Cows walked free on sacred ground, Air was prayer in every sound.

Krishna played beneath open skies, The cow’s breath pure, the fields all wise. Then kings became beggars of desire, And glass replaced the forest fire.

Now children cough before they pray, The sun hides behind a curtain of grey. Masks on faces, fear in the chest, We beg for air like a stolen guest.

“Help us breathe,” the city cries, Through burning eyes and choking skies. Not by bombs, not by war, But our own neglect became the scar.

Plastic in mouths of mothers once holy, Cows eating trash, streets breathing slowly. From prince to beggar — this is the fall, The curse of Ravan living in us all.

But even now, a window remains, Beyond the smoke, beyond the chains. When soul turns pure, the world will heal, Nature listens to what we feel.

Not only laws, not only blame, First the human must change the flame. From greed to care, from lust to light, From careless living to conscious sight.

Let every breath be offered today In Rajyoga’s silent, sacred way. From tragedy to transformation true— As the man awakens, the earth will too.

✅ Practical Actions (From Today, Not Someday):

• Use public transport whenever possible • Avoid burning waste, leaves, or plastic • Reduce firecrackers & celebrate eco-consciously • Plant and protect trees — not just on paper • Use air purifiers indoors & masks outdoors when AQI is severe • Save electricity — less power demand = less coal burning • Speak, share, question officials — awareness is also action • Practice inner cleanliness through meditation — outer change follows inner change
