• How was your training to become a pilot?

• So, my training to become a helicopter pilot, let me think, it was quite an experience. I started in Rio, at a small aviation school in Jacarepaguá Airport. I had to learn lots of theory, aerodynamics, specific rotary-wing aircraft subjects, that sort of thing. It was pretty intense. Then came the flying part, mostly in Robinson R22s to start. Learning to hover was a bit challenging, making all those tiny corrections you with the cyclic and pedals... eventually, I got my rotorcraft license. Felt pretty good!
