Hi, I'm Cole, founder of Hedrick.

We're a small design agency from Delaware working towards a more sustainable, equitable future.

At Hedrick, we believe brand strategy and design are incredibly powerful tools. They have the power to raise awareness, change consumer habits, and shape the world we live in. Most importantly, they have the power to create trust between organizations and people, whether that trust is warranted or not. And big, corporate agencies use that power to create trust in companies that don’t deserve it (like Facebook or Uber). This is why Hedrick exists. We’ve set out to build a brand strategy and design agency dedicated to advancing the work of ethical, sustainable nonprofits and brands.

We use the power of design and strategy – the power to create trust – to build distinct brands for organizations that are worthy of that trust. We partner with organizations focused on making the world a more just, regenerative place, not simply increasing their profit margins.

If that's you, we'd love to work together in 2021.

Let's talk!

Founded by Cole & Samantha Ryan in 2019, Hedrick is an independent brand strategy and design agency for nonprofits, social enterprises, and cause-driven startups. We're a small team of designers and strategists committed to building distinct brands and digital experiences

Creating distinction, by design

In today's loud, distracted digital space, a distinct brand is key to increasing your impact. It’s what separates the brands that receive the public’s trust, attention, and loyalty from those that don’t. But distinction is hard-won. At Hedrick, we believe distinction is only possible when design and strategy come together. We combine straightforward design with thoughtful strategy to create distinct brands for our clients.
