I started trading the HEATMAP over three months ago as I am writing this. That is not a long time at all.

I barely knew what I was looking at, and learned everything on my own entierly. Most of the concepts I picked up on where from pure trading experience.

I began with ATAS, and quickly moved to Quantower to trade.

I gamble scalped for a couple weeks with a 35 tick TP and SL, trying to go for high win-rate, high frequency trading. I quickly realized this isn’t my style.

I instead started discovering low drawdown trading with a tighter stop and no TP was multitudes better.

In these slightly older videos, I am looking for aggressive reactions, and placing an aggressive trade based on snapping.

Now, I look at both MNQ and NQ to spot differences and similarities between the two. The algorithmic/retail side of MNQ, and the massive traders from NQ paint the entire picture.

I highly suggest you go full-screen on a HEATMAP of NQ or MNQ. Look at nothing but the HEATMAP for a single trading week, and try to scalp it with a 25-35 tick stoploss.

DON’T use a take profit. Move to break even fast, and exit how you’d like.

You can definitely use the HEATMAP to shoot for a 60% winrate on a 1:1, but I find it better to go for a 30% winrate on a 1:5.

It is up to you.

After reading the heatmap for a week, you will understand price action in a way you never thought possible.
