**If you wish to skip around:**
→ A lesson that may be helpful to you → Backstory → Diagnosis → What I've learned over the last three months → Today and looking forward
As many of you know, I've scaled back my commitments significantly over the last 83 days while navigating some health challenges. Many have requested updates, which you'll find below.
I'm confident that some of my learnings may be helpful, but I wanted to keep one discovery front and center for you as I think it's a reminder that can benefit us all.
When my health concerns came to a head in March, I was initially resistant to sharing publicly. I sat with questions like "What is the real reason I'm posting this? Is it for likes? Sympathy?"
Despite this resistance, I hit 'post' anyway. And I'm truly thankful I did...
I'm not alone
Friends I've known well have shared their own health challenges with me. Either ones they are currently navigating or have navigated in the past. Some experiences were similar to mine, others weren't, but all were helpful.
My network is small, but mighty
I don't have hundreds of thousands of followers, but my network/friend group, yet again, leaves me speechless. I went from not knowing what to do to an outpouring of resources and connections that left me the paradox of choice of having too many options (a good quality problem to have).
