1. Who We Are

HeadsUp (Pty) Ltd ("HeadsUp", "we", "us") is a South African company operating a community-powered local visibility platform. We aggregate and surface location-based information contributed by community members to help users understand what is open, usable, and happening in urban areas — starting in Braamfontein, Johannesburg.

HeadsUp operates primarily through WhatsApp and the web. Our community agents, partners, and users together form the network through which local intelligence is collected and shared.

2. What HeadsUp Is — and Is Not

This section is the most important in these Terms. Please read it carefully.

HeadsUp is a local visibility and information relay platform. We surface community-contributed intelligence — including reports about open businesses, street conditions, infrastructure status, local events, and safety-related observations — to help users make informed decisions about urban movement.

HeadsUp is not:

No report, alert, or update on the HeadsUp platform — including any report relating to criminal activity, civil disturbance, or other safety incidents — constitutes verified, official, or professional advice of any kind.

The information on HeadsUp reflects what community members have observed and chosen to share, at a particular point in time. Conditions change. Reports may be incomplete, unverified, or no longer accurate by the time you see them.

In any emergency, contact the relevant authorities directly:
