About Day One

Day One is a new kind of school for entrepreneurs - one that’s virtual, community-driven, and actually supports, guides, and teaches all types of founders. We're on a mission to empower more people to become successful entrepreneurs, and we're doing that by building a new kind of entrepreneurial community and leveraging community-driven education. Our mission is shared by our investors: Gary Vaynerchuk, Antler, 27Ventures, Zanichelli Venture, and others committed to making entrepreneurship more accessible to all.

Our flagship program is the Day One Fellowship, a membership-based community that provides entrepreneurs access to the people, tools, and guidance they need to navigate the journey of building a successful business. Since our launch in Fall 2020, nearly 300 entrepreneurs have become Day One Fellows, more than 150 companies have been founded, and 2022 is set to be the year we grow 10x.

The Role

As Head of Community at Day One, your role will be focused on cultivating an inclusive, tight-knit, and highly valuable experience for every Day One Fellow. You'll be an important part of Day One's small but growing team, and have a wide scope of responsibility when it comes to creating the Fellowship experience, ranging from the day-to-day community and program management to the long term trajectory and evolution of the Fellowship. You will be working closely with Day One's CXO, CMO, and cofounders to take on ownership of the Fellowship and lead it into the next phase of growth and impact.

You will play a role in designing and implementing features that span the entire lifecycle of the Day One Fellow experience, both virtually and in real-life, from recruiting to onboarding to their time as a Fellow. You will engage with Fellows directly in our community platform, plan and run live sessions, recruit and coordinate with mentors, create and curate content, design and implement new community and educational experiences, and engage with partners to bring the best of the entrepreneurial world outside Day One into the Fellowship.

This role is both highly visible, front of house, on the ground with Fellows, as well as behind the scenes, strategic, designing and building new experiences.
