Overview:

HatchMed is a Seattle health technology company focusing on bringing user-centric design to medical equipment that hospital professionals use. They provide a vital range of products including tablet holders, magnetic cables, care communication devices and hall monitors.

Comcierge iOS is an inpatient engagement app that triages patient requests to the right member of the care team. It works with EMR/ADT integration, data analytics, and video call to provide alarm relief for nurses. I worked on this app as a UX designer to improve usability and navigation for patients/healthcare teams.

Goals:

• Understand and assess the current workflows used by the primary patient care team (nurses, doctors, etc.).
• Explore an efficient way to display patient request information and improve internal communication for healthcare teams.
• Collaborate with engineering, product managers, and stakeholders to create solutions for customer needs.
