Hander is a campus-native secondhand marketplace that enables college students to buy and sell used items securely within their university community.

Co-founder/Design Lead. Partnered with three Brown University engineers to design and build Hander end-to-end.

First-hand Problem Indication

While studying at RISD and Brown University, we observed students repeatedly throwing away usable items despite wanting to resell them. Existing platforms were either unsafe, inefficient, or poorly suited for campus use.

This wasn’t a one-off issue. It repeated every academic year.
