📃 Context

We all have observed that toys end up in the trash/abandoned when a child outgrows or loses interest in them (we hope you have watched Toy Story). What if we could make better use of these used toys, one man’s trash is another man’s treasure, right?

To solve this we need you to design a platform for buying & selling used toys that can help parents solve the problem of toy abandonment/wastage.

This platform would enable parents to list down their used toys for reselling. It would also enable the user to buy used toys at a lower cost.

• Make sure you are covering the whole journey from discovery to making final payment for the buyers and the journey of posting a listing & receiving payment for the sellers
• Ensure the product page has all essential information that would aid the buyer’s decision-making
• The platform can be used to post listings for used toys as well. Solve how one would list down their used toys on the platform.

🛠Designs Process

Before working on any task I want to be clear needs of the buyer and seller of toys and also wanted to understand the industry of toys and if toys really sell in the Indian market. And lastly, I want to understand the mindset of the parents toward buying second-hand toys. For this, I did primary and secondary research.

Primary research

I connected with some of my uncles(To understand their mindset towards selling their old toys) and my elder brothers who are parents and asked them about their experience buying any used toys for their kids.
