- Determine fake job posting in efforts to reduce fraud
- there is a kaggle dataset of this not sure if their is opsiton to using a precasted dataset. From here nlp and clustering can be applied to determine if a posting is fake or real based.
- Trend prediction
- When seeking anything from clothes to paint trends matter b.c people want to buy trends. Thus, using past trend (can tap into the google trend site for this) and social media such as Reddit to understand the duration of different trends and attributes which could possibly help to predict next trend or the duration of them.
- culinary antherpology
- Ingredients have traveled all over the world due to migration of people. This would be more of an interaction/visual tool but we could map the migration of foods example tomato’s are not native to Italy they originate in Mexico. The idea is you can select a food and visually see its migration across the goal and what event brought it there (mass migration/invasion ect.). Not sure that I’m explaining it well.
