Habit Penguin is designed to help you build habits while keeping your personal data under your control.
Data Habit Penguin Uses
- Habit names, goals, completions, streaks, focus sessions, and app preferences you create in the app
- Health data you choose to authorize through Apple Health, such as sleep, water, and calories, when you enable Health-connected habits
- Account identifiers required for sign-in, syncing, purchase restoration, and app functionality
How Data Is Used
- Display and update your habits, progress, streaks, routes, and insights
- Sync your app data across your Apple devices through iCloud when available
- Read Apple Health data only for the Health-connected habit features you choose to use
- Restore purchases and determine access to Habit Penguin Plus features
- Respond to support requests when you contact us
Apple Health
Habit Penguin only reads Apple Health data after you grant permission. Health data is used to power the Health-connected habits you choose to enable. Habit Penguin does not sell Health data, use it for advertising, or share it with data brokers.
Data Sharing
Habit Penguin does not sell your personal data. Data may be processed by Apple services such as iCloud, HealthKit, and StoreKit where needed to provide app functionality on Apple platforms.
Data Storage and Retention
Habit data is stored on your device and may sync through your iCloud account when iCloud is available. You can remove local app data from within the app. Data stored in iCloud is managed through your Apple account and Apple device settings.

- Change Apple Health permissions at any time in the Health app or iOS Settings
