The Dos and Don'ts

Do...

• Keep text/images left-aligned/center-aligned.
• Stick to the Gen She color palette.
• Use gradients!
• Label photos - make sure your audience can clearly identify the subject and their IG handle if they have one.
• Be bold. A big bold title in caps on a gradient background is simple yet eye-catching - it's much easier to get information across this way.

Don't...

• Clutter the composition - the best posts are clear and concise.
• Use too many contrasting colors. The gradient look best when the colors are harmonious.
• Use the font hierarchy in a different order - not all need to be used in the same post but always use them chronologically.
• Display more than a small number of images per post page.
