Project Overview

In this project, I analyzed an HR and Employee attrition to uncover the factors that lead to employee attrition. There are so many breakdown factors that lead to employee attrition and identifying the insight on how to reduce attrition. My goal was to transform raw data into actionable insights and helps to show the breakdown that led to employee attrition in order make decision. Data cleaning and Exploratory Data Analysis was done using SQL, visualization was done using Excel.

Data Overview

The dataset contains Employee and HR information’s across various dimensions including:

• Employees Demographic (Age, Gender, Martial Status,)
• Employee Compensation metrics (Monthly Income)
• Employee Job Satisfaction, Performance Rating, Promotion Years
• Employee Tenure (Years at The Company, Years with The Current Manager, Working Years)
• Employee Job-related data (Job Role, Department)
• Employee Distance, Work-life Balance and Environment and Overtime status
• Attrition Status (Yes/NO)

1. Total Employee

Insight: It helps to know the total number of employees before attrition and useful in tracking employee turnover.
