🔨 Installing

Download Telegram Desktop from https://desktop.telegram.org/.

Download Telegram Mobile app from Google Play Store or Apple App Store depending on your device.

From both Desktop and Mobile App, go to Contacts, Search (Magnifying Glass Icon) and search for latentaibot with the name Blake Latent and with our icon.

Start a chat with the bot and say Hi. You should get a response.

ℹī¸ Intro to using Latent

By default, you will start off with a free Intern account which allows you to fetch market data for free. Note that typing and submitting /Data or Data in the chat is the same. /Data is a convenience styling in the chat interface which allows you to click on it, rather than typing it inside the chat.

Latent recognizes multiple chat intent and all intents start from the main menu which is initiated by saying Hi. If you want to reset or if you want to navigate from the main menu, you can say Hi at any time.

🧠 Upgrading to the Analyst Account

Right now, there are only 2 plans, the free Intern and the fully-featured Analyst plan. To upgrade to the Analyst plan, go onto the Web App and sign in. Go onto Plan > Analyst (select) where you can make the payment, priced in SGD (our HQ currency).

🌐 Connecting your Telegram Account to the Web App

Go onto the main page of the Web App, copy the 44 character authentication string starting with 'AUTH' and paste it in your Telegram chat interface. This connects your Telegram username with your Web account. If successfully, you can see the email address used to sign in the Web App in your Telegram. This email is also where email alerts are sent to.

đŸ§Ŧ Using Latent in your investment Life-cycle

Here lies a popular use path to screen for assets, set monitors on price levels and to reallocate your positions.

  1. Start a 1:1 chat session with Latent, or add Telegram to your group chats.
  2. Fetch prices on the go. The short cut is to type $ followed by the name of the ticker. For example, $TSLA or $AAPL.
