Explore the sensations
Choose one sensation and get curious. What is this sensations like? Are is dense? Hot, cold? If you visualized it, does it have a color?
Inquire Gently
What is the sensation trying to say? What emotion, story, or belief is it holding? It can (but doesn’t have to) be correlated with a part.
Stay with the sensation
Breathe into the sensation and just hold it in your open, loving awareness. Let go of any expectations for it to change in any way. It may shift, it may not. New content may come up, or it may not. Strong emotions may arise. You may want to explore the protector or exile part related to it. Just stay patiently with the sensation and let Thyself know what’s going on for you.
