Organisation: High Impact Athletes Role: Growth Specialist/Manager Programme: Race for Impact Location: Remote (Global) Salary: $45,000-$75,000 USD (adjusted for location) Contract: Full-time, permanent Reports to: Kevin Rassool, Tech Director (Melbourne-based)
Race for Impact sits inside HYROX, the world's fastest-growing fitness race. In 8 months we went from zero to 15,000+ fundraisers and $2.8M USD raised across 30+ events in 15 countries. The product works. The partnership is locked. Most growth roles make you choose: learn fast at a startup that sells software, or do meaningful work at a nonprofit that moves slowly. This role is both. You'll ship, measure, and iterate every week, and the thing you're growing directs millions toward charities that save the most lives per dollar.
Our north star: 5% of all HYROX participants become Impact Racers within 3 years, generating $25-30M annually for the world's most effective charities.
When you lift activation rates, more people fundraise. When more people fundraise, more lives are saved. That connection between craft and consequence is what makes this role different.
Relentless experiment cycles. HYROX runs 100+ events per season across 30+ countries, often multiple per week. Each event is a natural experiment boundary. You change an activation sequence before Berlin, measure the result, iterate before NYC. In your first year you'll run more live experiments than most growth people run in three.
Full-stack ownership. You build the Customer.io flow, launch the Meta campaign, analyse the funnel, and decide what to do next. The distance between your ideas and their execution is zero.
Infrastructure and tooling ready to go. The data pipeline, automation stack, and AI tooling are in place. We use Claude and other AI tools across every function, daily. You'll draft copy, query our data warehouse, and build automations with AI as a core part of your workflow. The constraint is ideas and execution speed, not tooling or engineering resources.
This is a role for someone who tests everything. Subject lines, send times, creative angles, nudge timing, copy variants. You form hypotheses, ship experiments, read the data, and iterate. That mindset matters more than any single skill on your CV.
You'll be hands-on. In Customer.io building flows. In Meta Ads Manager optimising creative. In Claude drafting copy, analysing data, and building workflows faster than you could alone.
You'll own the racer lifecycle from ticket purchase to activated fundraiser to goal achieved to repeat racer.
