Mobile Devices

Your phone is constantly connecting to and sharing your information with networks, apps, and websites. Here are some ways to manage how much your phone shares:

Go to your phone settings and turn off location services for any app that does not need your location. Also delete your location history

Create a strong password for your phone

Change your phone’s name so that it does not reflect your name

Install and use a safer browsing/search app, like DuckDuckGo, Firefox Focus, or Onion

Instead of using your phone's messaging service, use an encrypted messaging app like Signal

Delete unused apps
