Light intensity:
Provides energy needed for photosynthesis (endothermic reaction)
- Use artificial light after the sun goes down
Temperature:
Increases the rate of enzyme activity until enzymes become denatured
- Greenhouses trap the sun’s heat
- During the winter, a heater can be used
- If it’s too hot, shades and ventilation can be used
Carbon Dioxide:
Increases the concentration of substrates to react
- Use a paraffin heater to increase carbon dioxide concentrations
