Before you start

Fetch API key from Greenhouse

1. Log in to your Greenhouse account (make sure you have Admin privileges)
2. Click the Configure icon ⚙️ in the upper right-hand corner
3. Navigate to Dev Center on the left-hand panel
4. Click API Credential Management

1. Click "Create a New API Key"

1. In the Create New Credential dialogue, make the following selection:

   • API Type: choose Harvest from the dropdown menu

   • Partner (if applicable): No need to select anything here

   • Description: type in Orgnostic

     

2. Click Manage Permissions to generate your Harvest API key

3. In the subsequent dialogue box, click Copy to save your API key to your clipboard

4. Store the API key in a secure place

5. Click I have stored the API Key once you have copied and saved the key

6. On the subsequent page, make sure to expand every segment (Applications, Candidates, Tags etc.) and select all attributes with the prefix GET (that will allow us to read data without the ability to alter it).
