Problem Definition & Background
- With the global emphasis on carbon neutrality and environmental responsibility, ESG management is becoming a core strategy for financial institutions. However, there is still a lack of consumer-targeted ESG financial products, especially in the deposit/savings sector.
- This project aims to bridge that gap by proposing a green savings account that rewards customers for eco-friendly consumption behaviors, thereby aligning with Shinhan Financial Group’s ESG initiatives.
