Why we made the product:

A variety of essential service industries (transportation and logistics, IT, communications, etc.) enforce a standard of competency and skill by requiring certifications or licenses, which demand specialized training, work experience, and, yes, tests.

A survey by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics shows that nearly a quarter of the country's workforce has a license or certification for their particular job. We're launching practice tests for government-issued licenses and other certifications to aggregate helpful resources in one easy-to-access place: DoNotPay.

How to use the product:

  1. Sign into DoNotPay.com from any browser
  2. Search for practice tests using keywords such as "citizenship test" or "commercial driver's license"
  3. Select the test you would like to prepare for
  4. Select the length of the practice test: 10, 20, or 30 questions
  5. Take the test question by question! You may retry incorrect questions on the spot or choose to retake the test after you've seen your score.
  6. We are also adding a feature, where users can schedule appointments for the tests that they have just practiced for.

Practice Tests:

  1. U.S. Citizenship Test covers important U.S. history/government topics and must be passed to become a naturalized citizen of the United States.

  8. The Criteria Cognitive Aptitude Test (CCAT) is a pre-employment aptitude test that assesses a candidate’s critical thinking skills. Many employers use CCAT results much like colleges use to SAT, to filter applicants for the mid to upper level roles they are looking to fill.
  9. Armed Service Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) is a multiple-choice aptitude test given to determine the qualifications for any enlisted serviceman. Though it is not pass-fail, the results help determine what roles someone may be assigned to in the U.S. military.
