The government partnered with civil society organisations to identify victims of trafficking and refer them to care but did not report providing financial or in-kind support to such organisations; although there were increased awareness-raising efforts in 2019. Interventions directed towards awareness included:

• 5,000 speeches and presentations
• 223 radio and television programmes
• 52 training courses for 887 National Police officers

Victim-centred interventions included:

• Family reunification and integration,
• Reference to victim violence centres, and
• Care at government facilities.

There were 12 and 22 family reunification and integration recorded in 2018 and 2017 respectively. An NGO-run hotline was also available for reporting cases. In 2019, 2,500 calls were made to it, of those calls 1% of the calls were later determined to be trafficking. (United States of America Department of State, 2020)
