Making a Proposal

Context:

For fairness of governance as well as increased voter participation, SifDAO’s governance processes should be well-documented, simple, and accessible to all contributors. This includes clarity on the different types of governance processes and when each one should be used, as well as how to request funds from the Community Fund and Councils (once they have budgets).

On Governance Processes (and where we will document them)

This document will serve the purpose of clearly defining and articulating the governance processes within Sifchain. This document will cover:

The official governance processes will reside on the official Sifchain external facing document site (here: https://docs.sifchain.finance) where they can be easily accessed by anyone. If there is any ambiguity to the as-is processes or rules, we suggest reaching out to SifDAO and SifCore via Discord .

If there are any conflicts between documented rules, the below order should be followed: code is primary, then the Sifchain Constitution, then this governance document, then other Sifchain official documentation. If there is something that is not explicitly addressed, we default to parliamentary procedure as outlined in robert's rules of order newly revised, 12th edition.
