GrowLog AI automatically creates a Google Sheets spreadsheet in your Google Drive and writes a new row every time you finish a chat session. This gives you a permanent, searchable garden diary that lives in your own Google account.
Your Google account is already connected. During onboarding, GrowLog automatically creates a spreadsheet in your Drive — no extra steps needed.
During onboarding, you’ll see a step to connect Google Sheets. This asks you to authorise GrowLog to create and write to a spreadsheet in your Drive.
If you skipped that step, you can connect later:
Once connected, GrowLog creates the sheet automatically and starts logging from your next session.
Each row in your spreadsheet contains:
| Column | Content |
|---|---|
| Date | The date of the session |
| Garden | Garden name |
| Crop | Crop name |
| Observation | What you told the AI you observed |
| Action taken | What you said you did |
| AI advice | Key recommendations from the AI |
| Weather | Current conditions at your garden’s location |
| Logged by | Display name of the member who logged the session (shared gardens) |
GrowLog creates the sheet in your Google Drive. The sheet link is stored in your garden settings — open Settings, select the garden, and you’ll see a link to the sheet.
