How to create a meeting on Ruume from Google Cal

1. add the Ruume Chrome extension from ther Chrome store: here
2. on Google Calendar, schedule a meeting as usual
3. click on “Make it a Ruume Meeting”

Troubleshooting / how to remove the Google Meet button: some guests may get a button “Join with Google Meet” which may lead to confusion. In fact, the same will happen if they have a Zoom extension.

There’s a simple and fast fix:

1. go to Calendar Settings
2. uncheck “Automatically Add Google Meet…”
