Feedback is the key to building better UBI solutions for everyone

During the summer of 2022, GoodDollar embarked on a journey of better understanding the ~450,000 community members.

Aim: to better understand the GoodDollar community to build a better product

Scope:

To better fulfill our mission of creating greater access to digital finance around the world, understanding of the GoodDollar community is key 🔑. We need to learn about what drives them, what their pain points are, and what will enable them to become greater inheritors of the GoodDollar ecosystem.

Research questions:

• Why aren’t community members purchasing G$ tokens? What would motivate them to do so? What is preventing them from doing so given that G$ tokens are very cheap at this time?
• How are community members being/staying involved in our community and how have they gone from simply being “Claimers” only to highly-involved Ambassadors?
• What are community members doing already, or have done in order to “value-hack” their way into increasing & improving their financial wealth & health?

Methodology

• Survey: a 2-part survey shared in the GoodDollar wallet feed

• Total results ~1200

• Survey questions: Close-ended & non-tailored questions to help the product team better understand community profiles and thereby help us know whom to follow-up & interview
