Introduction

This article is intended to guide CloudMade team members through a goal-setting process - this is the G is GROW. There is no right or wrong time to follow this process. You could spend many days on your goals, you could spend only one hour. You could do this alone, you could do this with your team or with your coach or line-manager.

<aside> 💡 Example: Fiona Oakes is a British ultra-athlete and animal rights activist whose dedication to her cause has been captured in the documentary Running for Good. Despite being born with a rare knee problem that makes running difficult for her, she holds four world records in long-distance running. Her dream goal is to end the suffering of animals. Her end goals include competing in and winning ultra marathons to raise awareness of the suffering of animals and to promote veganism. A lifelong vegan, Fiona uses her athletic achievements to prove that eating meat is not a necessary precursor to athletic performance. She is a great example to keep in mind before, during and after you set your own goals.
