Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how GlowUp! ("the App") handles your information.

1. OUR PRIVACY COMMITMENT

GlowUp! is designed with privacy as a core principle. We do NOT collect, store, or transmit your personal data to our servers. Your data stays on your device.

1. DATA STORED ON YOUR DEVICE

The following data is stored locally on your device using on-device storage (AsyncStorage): • Profile information (name, gender, style goals) • Style analysis results • Outfit journal entries and photos • App preferences and settings • Subscription status • Usage statistics (for daily limits)

This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to export or share it.

1. AI PROCESSING

When you use AI-powered features (AI Coach, Outfit Analysis, Vibe Check, Rate My Fit), your data is sent to third-party AI services for real-time processing:

• HuggingFace Inference API — for style classification, image captioning, and text generation

Important: Photos sent for AI analysis are processed in real-time and are NOT stored by these services. No personal identifiers are sent with AI requests. We do not use your data to train AI models.

1. DATA WE DO NOT COLLECT

We do NOT collect: • Your name or email address • Location data • Device identifiers for tracking • Browsing history • Contact information • Health or biometric data • Financial information (payments are handled entirely by Apple)

1. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

• Apple App Store: Handles all payment processing for subscriptions. Apple's privacy policy applies to payment data. • HuggingFace: Processes AI requests. No personal data is shared. See HuggingFace's privacy policy at huggingface.co/privacy.

1. ANALYTICS

The App does not use third-party analytics services. Usage tracking (feature usage counts, streak data) is stored locally on your device only and is never transmitted.

1. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

GlowUp! is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
