I actually made all this stuff as a film-prop/set-dressing for a film I was making. The film turned out to be terrible. The set dressing became the interesting part.

This is an installation shot from an exhibition I was part of. The notes and drawings follow a sort of narrative: girl runs away from home, father is upset, mother is a ghost.
