About the project:

This student project aimed to create an editorial-style landing page for a famous fashion figure, Giorgio Armani. The goal was to capture the essence of Italian elegance in a modern digital format while showcasing the brand’s values of simplicity, refinement, and timelessness.

My role: Web Designer

Time frame: Academic project

Responsibilities: Structure creation, typography selection, composition design, reference analysis, and complete visual execution.

Outcome: A well-designed landing page that reflects Armani’s identity through careful typography, a simple color scheme, and a polished layout inspired by luxury fashion.

Discovery

Reference Analysis To define the visual direction, I looked at editorial layouts, high-fashion websites, and the distinct style linked to the Armani brand.

Key findings:

• Armani’s visual style focuses on simplicity, contrast, and quiet confidence.
• Text and images often look like printed magazines; they are structured, elegant, and uncluttered.
• Red accents appear sparingly but meaningfully, adding sophistication without overwhelming the design.
• Photography is central, often highlighting craftsmanship, silhouettes, and legacy.

These insights formed the basis for the layout, typography, and tone of the landing page.
