ACM-W Summer School on Algorithmic Game Theory

We will mostly follow the handbook of Computational Social Choice, that you can find here. Links to more specific texts and surveys will be added here in due course.

General Background Reading

Following the lectures in this summer school mostly requires mathematical maturity, although a background specifically in discrete mathematics and undergraduate-level algorithms is generally useful.

  1. If you want to revise your discrete mathematics fundamentals, we recommend this Coursera specialization on the topic.
  2. If you want to revise your algorithms fundamentals, I recommend this Coursera specialization on the topic.

Note that you don't need to pay (just opt to audit the course) to view the lectures and the quizzes (you do - typically - have to upgrade to submit and check your solutions though).

The following videos are not required viewing, but if you are curious about the overall flavor of the discussions that are coming up in this summer school, you may enjoy watching them.
