Welcome to the GetYourRefund Navigator onboarding page! Code for America collaborates with 100+ Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) partners and community based organizations to connect eligible clients to free tax filing services. The Navigator program is designed to help reach clients that can't access GetYourRefund.org or IRS tools on their own due to language, technology, trust, or other barriers.

This page outlines the training, onboarding process, and resources for Navigators and Advanced Navigators. Depending on which navigator option you choose, it can take 2-4 hours to be ready to assist clients.

We recommend opening links in a new browser tab to make it easy to navigate back to this list.

If you have questions, reach out to Courtney O'Reilly, Navigator Program Manager, GetYourRefund, at [email protected].
