Every morning I sleep in though I am fully awake. I end up wasting a lot of time.

Less time stay in bed doing nothing meaningful every morning.

What tool can you use to solve these problems?

  1. Weather is cold → cozy get up
    1. prepare blanket and warm clothes nearby so less friction of cold weather
    2. cozy music
  2. Cell phone is enticing → control distraction
    1. Put my cell phone on my keyboard, so I have to get up and reach it
    2. Have a timer to remind me how much time I have spent on my phone.
    3. Within this timer, I have to sit up in bed to use my phone.
  3. Google home
    1. Use the routine function of google home to create a morning alarm routine, it includes:
      1. 15 minutes timer to remind me of phone use
      2. Start playing music I like
  4. Reward
    1. If succeed in a consecutive 4 days, XXX
    2. If hit rate of a month is 80%, XX
    3. if hit rate of two months is 80%, XX

How to inspect your progress?

Record wake time and get out of bed time for a month, recording what I do between this time, which methods work and which don't work.

What inputs you can put for this habit building to work? Anything else you can think of?

Reward, music, distraction removed, limitation, technology. Seems to be a sound plan.
