• Ex culmine lucis in magno elementorum which is used frequently in magic circles (Abyss Mage, Hypostases, Mona, Unreconciled Stars) has different readings. We went with "From the culmination of light, upon the greatness/vastness of the elements"
  • Commonly cited on the wiki: from the peak of light, to greatness of the elements, and another: the greatest elements come from the culmination of light
  • TL Notes:
    • 'culmination' is a decent way to translate 'culmine' here since 'peak of light' sounds a bit weird. 'greatness of the elements' is probably more accurate because magno is not an adjective modifying elementorum. so maybe something like: "From the culmination of light, upon the greatness/vastness of the elements" my specific parsing for reference: ex [from] culmine [peak/culmination, ablative singular] lucis [light, genitive singular] in [in/on/upon -- NOT into/to because it's not followed by accusative] magno [greatness, ablative singular] elementorum [elements, genitive
