Once you have completed more than one assessment, you will be able to see the progress of students over time in our progress reports. In this article, we will go into detail on generating and interpreting the PDF progress report for your school and the particular year or grade.

Generating your report

To generate your PDF report, please go into School Reports in your NMM account and Progress.

For AAW, we ask that you deselect the syllabuses that took place before 2021-2022 as the scale we used for the scores has changed. For example if you are looking at the Grade 4 progress:

To then generate your PDF progress report or the progress spreadsheet, click on the icons below the appropriate year group:

Overview of results

Now looking at the PDF progress report, the first page shows the average scores for your school and all schools for each assessment. Note that for your school, the mean scores for matched students only will be shown (the number of students shown in brackets). These results are also shown graphically on the Overview Scores Chart page.

On the Overview Grades page, we give the cumulative frequencies achieving each grade for each assessment. Just to make clear, 100% of students will always achieve the bottom grade or above (but some or most will achieve a higher grade). In the above example, 98% of all students in this school achieved the Developing grade or above in the second assessment.

Gender summaries

The Gender pages are set out in exactly the same way as the Overview pages, but broken down in terms of male and female students.
