A garden is the top-level container in GrowLog AI. Each garden has its own crops, AI conversations, diary, and (optionally) a Google Sheets log.

Creating a Garden

From the Dashboard, tap New Garden. You’ll be asked for:

Once a location is entered, GrowLog automatically detects your USDA hardiness zone and saves your coordinates for weather-based alerts. The zone is shown as a badge on the garden card.

You can have as many gardens as you want. Each one is fully independent — separate crops, separate diary, separate sheet.

Viewing a Garden

Tap any garden card on the Dashboard to open it. Inside you’ll see:

• A list of your crops (with status badges)
• A button to add a new crop
• Navigation to the crop’s AI chat

Editing a Garden

Open Settings and select the garden from the dropdown. You can update:

• Garden name
• Location — re-entering a location re-runs the zone and coordinates lookup
• Google Sheet connection — connect or reconnect your spreadsheet

Tap Save changes when done.

Deleting a Garden

In Settings, scroll to the bottom of the garden section and tap Delete garden.

• If you’re the only member: a confirmation dialog appears. Deleting permanently removes all crops, conversations, and logs.
• If the garden has other members: you’ll be asked to either transfer ownership to another member or delete the garden for everyone. This protects shared gardens from accidental deletion.

Deletion cannot be undone.
