Overview

Pacing

Preparation (~5m)

Obtain resources, build defenses, armor up. Since there's limited time, players will have to self-organize and distribute their efforts to stand a chance.

Nightfall (~1m)

The plague kills up to 7 players, who form the initial monster army (along with AI).

Battle (~20m to 1h)

Open map, large-scale battle, where monsters eventually penetrate through walls and overtake shrines. The pace gradually increases, until only a few humans are still alive, at which the intensity is extremely high. The length of the game varies significantly based on individual player skill and player coordination/teamwork.

Rewards

Performance-based — gold awarded is computed from number of monster kills and human kills
