This is a coop split-screen game where two people are on the same mission to feed people while racing. One player takes over the driving seat: they catch up to racers on the track and takes their orders; all while player 2 is working in the back of the truck, cooking orders and serves by launching them out of the truck window.

Core Game Loop

The core gameplay loop revolves around two players working in tandem: one player drives the food truck, chasing and taking orders from racing cars, while the other player prepares and launches food to fulfill those orders. As orders are completed successfully, players earn money which feeds into the progression system. This creates a fast-paced cycle of driving, cooking, and upgrading that keeps both players engaged and coordinated.

User Interface

This is a split screen game so each player shouldn’t have too much going on on their screens. Minimalistic approach similar to Pacific Drive and Satisfactory - but with even less cluttered menus because we don't have any serious craft like them.

Progression System

Player main resource that they gain is money which can be spent on either the upgrades for the truck, new truck, kitchen supplies, or “gas money” to travel to new states and thus unlock new levels.

Audio Design

no strict art direction in this department. Whichever free audio assets we can source for cheap/free

Visual Style

Inspirations: Overcooked, Pacific Drive, Satisfactory. Minimalistic hand drawn style that doesn't look exclusively cartoonish, and has very prominent PBR materials that can reflect, be metallic, rough, etc.
