About Us

At Voltx, we're working to build an ML platform to accelerate the testing process of energy storage devices such as batteries, supercapacitors, and electronics, from months to a few days.

We've already developed the MVP (front-end and ML) of our product and are currently working on further developing the product with two of the largest manufacturers in the supercapacitor industry to pilot our work into their company.

We are in need of an awesome front-end developer to help complete the web application for this work!

Expectations

• This role is as a contractor, and will last a few weeks with flexible hours.
• Good for people who want to work on their own projects, in between jobs, or want a side-project they can contribute their skills too.
• A lot of the codebase and infrastructure has already been built out but some changes will be needed to integrate a new ML model into the front-end.
• You will be coordinating directly with the co-founders on documenting your work and integrating it into the existing codebase.
• Based on how the contractor role goes, we are also happy to stay in touch and discuss a full-time role down the line.
• Any engineering/comp. costs (AWS, etc.) can be taken on by the company.
• Compensation is flexible (one-time fee at the end of the project) and we're happy to decide on this amount together based on the project deliverables and tasks. No equity or benefits provided.

Skills & Experience

• Sufficient experience in front end development using React, HTML, CSS and JavaScript. We will ask to see past projects on this.
• Familiar with AWS tools such as Sagemaker.
• Experienced with MERN stack.
• Have worked with integrating ML models into front-end before.
• A good awareness of web development frameworks available in the market.
