Subject: Friends of Arrows update (+4.1% to $2.55M—new head of design)
Hey everybody!
Welcome to the monthly Friend of Arrows investor update. Hope all of you had a nice Labor Day Weekend.
Here are the highlights for August 2025:
- **🎉 ARR growth—**we reached $2,547,959 in ARR during the month by adding $100,424 in net new ARR, growing +4.1% over last month. This is the month we officially crossed $2.5M ARR! 🎉🔥 Pretty hyped for this, and yet we’re already looking at the next milestone :)
- **📈 Sales pipeline—**we scheduled 60 new demos in July. This accounts for roughly $480k in sales pipeline for the month. We were growing strong for most of the month, but the last week and a half were a little softer than our recent trends. 60 used to be a high month for us as recently as the spring, but we’re aiming for 80+ now.
- **🎨 Hired a Head of Design—**we’re excited to welcome Eugene Fedorenko as our new Head of Design at Arrows. He started last week and we’re excited for the impact he’’ll have for customers and on our growth.
- **☁️ Salesforce integration—**we’ve been demoing the Salesforce integration and inviting our first partners to test it. Matt and Marcelo have done a fantastic job making a really great integration, and we’re excited to launch it. Planning to launch with our new website in late September.
- **🔥 Cashflow/burn—**we’re starting to focus more on getting annual upfront payments, especially as we shift to selling into Salesforce. We expect this to help with our goal of positive cashflow. Otherwise, our burn is generally low enough, but this month was still higher than ideal with a severance payment (for our previous marketing lead) and other payments for sponsorship at HubSpot’s conference this week.
- **👎 Churn—**as you’ve seen on recent updates, churn has been a problem area and a focus. This month’s churn was in a much better territory. We did a lot more outreach this month to risky accounts, so we are assuming this is more related to that outreach or fortuitous timing and aren’t yet under the impression that we’ve made the progress we hope (but a great step in the right direction!).
- 📣 Case studies—our case study with HubSpot (please boost) went live last week and the reception has been really positive. There’s still have a lot of work to do to turn this into a lot of pipeline, but this is step one. We also have 10+ virtual case studies recorded and in active editing which we will launch soon.
- **💻 New website—**our new website is actively underway and being built + designed as we speak. We feel confident it will help us convert more of our existing traffic to pipeline at a minimum.
- **🍻 Happy hour RSVPS—**tomorrow is our annual happy hour during HubSpot’s conference, and we currently have 860+ RSVPs for a venue capacity of ~200.
