The Challenge: Inconsistent Messaging Across Channels
Different teams communicate in different ways—varying tone, clarity, and formatting. This fragmentation confuses employees, slows down productivity, and makes people feel out of the loop.
📝Proposed Solution
To address this challenge, I propose a five-phase rollout of an Internal Comms Playbook that is easy to access, understand, and adopt across teams:
- Phase 1: Build: Create a digestible playbook that includes brand voice, message templates, comms best practices, and examples.
- Phase 2: Enable: Record a short walkthrough video that explains the “why,” previews the playbook, and helps people get started fast.
- Phase 3: Launch: Roll out via All Hands mention, intranet article, slack post, newsletter mention, and live Q&A + Listening Session.
- Phase 4: Listen: Host a 30-min Q&A to gather employee feedback and measure sentiment + adoption.
- Phase 5: Scale: Embed the playbook in onboarding so new hires learn our internal communication guidelines from day one.
