About medwise.ai

At medwise.ai we help doctors provide the best care to patients.

Our mission is to improve healthcare for everyone by helping clinicians find evidence-based, authoritative answers to their questions, and be better at this than Google Search. Our work is at the intersection of the latest research in NLP, search and Question Answering and the upcoming transformation of healthcare.

We are an early stage, fast-growing tech startup based in London with several MVPs in advanced development and several B2B deals in our pipeline. We have just completed our first raise, and we are looking for exceptional engineers to join us in building the future of healthcare. We have won one of the most competitive Innovate UK grant with 8600 applicants and are backed by Novartis as one of our investors.

The role/you

We are looking for a senior full-stack developer to join our founding team: someone with solid industry experience, passionate about code and great at shipping it, who is excited about the mission, understands the risks and uncertainties of working in a startup and is interested in learning as much as they can.

As a founding employee you will be instrumental in helping us build a company that people want to work at and a product that delights our users.

Our current main product is a search engine (think Google Search) that applies the latest developments in NLP to Question Answering for a specific domain where the right answer can literally save a life.
