Scope of Role and Experience
As a Founding Engineer, you will:
- Lead the development of core features for the scientific discovery workspace, from sophisticated search filters to AI-powered writing assistants.
- Architect and scale systems capable of processing millions of scientific queries and indexing vast academic databases.
- Partner directly with the founders to translate researcher pain points into elegant, high-performance product solutions.
- Own the end-to-end delivery of 0 → 1 features that define the future of the "CFO of Science" tech stack.
- Influence the technical roadmap and help set the engineering culture for a rapidly expanding team.
You have:
- 4+ years of experience in full-stack software engineering, ideally in a fast-paced startup or high-growth environment.
- Mastery of modern web technologies and experience building complex, data-heavy applications.
