About the role

As a founding designer, you'll join Dupe to shape its visual, product, and brand identity from the ground up. You won’t just design—you’ll define what “design” means for the company and build the foundation for future growth. This role is fast-paced, high-impact, and requires deep strategic thinking, constant flexibility, and strong organizational discipline. You’ll more than likely design things we can’t even imagine yet… tech is moving too quickly to be specific.

Compensation & location

Base: $160,000-$220,000

Equity: 0.5%-1.5%

Tokens: $DUPE token allocation

Location: NYC

Key responsibilities

  1. Own design across Dupe
    1. Set the tone for our visual and UX design, own how Dupe shows up as pixels in shopper’s eyeballs across the board.
  2. Strategic Prioritization
    1. Brutally prioritize design efforts—choose the top 3 impact areas daily and ruthlessly eliminate distractions
  3. Navigate Ambiguity
    1. Own design gaps across product, brand, marketing, and fundraising (decks, as needed), experimenting with limited direction
